My Favorite Niece

 Here's my FAVORITE and only niece, Katherine! Mike and I spent Labor Day Weekend with his Family in St. Louis.  And I love snapping some pics of this child whenever I can!  Though she's always calling other people "Siiilly", as you can see in the photos she's the real silly one!

Little Joseph...so, so cute-Newborn Portraits-Memphis, TN

Introducing little baby Joseph!


What a precious baby boy he is.  This new family of 3 go to church with us where we've had the pleasure of getting to know them.  I think Mandi was pregnant when I first started to get to know her, and this may be weird, but when I meet someone who is pregnant and I didn't know them before, sometimes I think they're always going to be pregnant.  It makes no sense. But low and behold, a baby is born! I'm excited for the new parents and it's fun watching them love and care for their little guy.  
This session was really enjoyable. I had some new props I was excited to use. He slept the whole time and was so easy to work with!  I've really been enjoying newborn sessions.  Again, they're really different from anything else I do, but that's exactly what makes it fun and exciting.

The Adorable Hale Family!-In Urban Downtown Memphis...

The Hale Family...I loved them.  It was a hot Memphis summer day that we're all too familiar with.  The 4 Hales stuck through and were such great sports.  I came back from this session so excited and energized. 

Downtown Memphis is pretty much awesome.  Though, unfortunately a lot of them are abandoned, there are an endless number of old buildings that have so much character.  I had my eye on a few for awhile and finally got the opportunity to use them.  The Hales, who live in South Korea and were just in the states for a visit, were all too familiar with an urban setting and felt like that fit their family just right. 

The little Hales were so cute and such a fun age to work with.  They were little models just doing their thing.  I love capturing their expressions and their personalities.
